Self provided user personal data. Data provided through site dedicated sections, such curricula an/or other documents, could contain personal data regarding special categories (e.g. data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political or religious or philosophical opinions, trade union membership etc. in accordance with art.9 of the GDPR) requires the user's express consent.
In the absence of express consent EDG will not be able to process such data.
Personal data of data subjects which may be collected and processed for the purposes indicated below, are: personal data, contact data, curricular data.

The collection and the processing of personal data are aimed at the performance by EDG of research, selection and evaluation of candidates in its own interest.
In the event that personal data is provided by the Data Subject in reference to a specific advertisement or a specific job order, the processing of the data will be implemented with specific reference to that personnel selection job order.
The processing of personal data, whether related to specific selections or as part of subsequent Personnel selections, will only be implemented by EDG if the submission of the data is accompanied by the explicit consent of the Data Subject.

The data collected will be maintained for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed ("principle of limitation of storage," Art.5, GDPR) or in accordance with the deadlines stipulated by legal regulations. Specifically:

  • For recruiting purposes, retention times are 12 months from the close of the selection for which they were collected or from receipt in the case of voluntary submission

Verification of retained data in relation to the purposes for which they were collected is carried out periodically.
